"The Fruit of the Spirit"

Read Together

Galatians 1-6 or Story 130 in The Gospel Story Bible

Talk Together

Why did Paul travel all over the world? (Instead of hurting Christians, Paul was helping all of the new churches begin in many different cities. Once a church had begun, Paul moved on to the next city. He also trained up young men, like Titus and Timothy to be leaders in these churches.)

Why did Paul write to the Galatian church? (Sometimes Paul would write letters to churches to help and lead them, especially when he couldn't be there in person. He told them to look for "the fruit of the Spirit".)

What is "The Fruit of the Spirit"? (When someone repents & follows Christ, they are given the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit begins to change the person and their words & actions reflect the things that are of God. There "fruits" are: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control.)

Pray Together

Ask God to help you show all of these "fruits"!
