Last night a group had the privilege to meet two ladies from India who are pouring their lives into the Dalit people in India. The Dalits in India are part of the caste that receive the most discrimination. Most cannot read and are seen as backwards. Operation Mobilization saw a need among these people and have taken some bold steps to empower them socially, economically, physically and spiritually. The women share about their specific work with the women in the Dalit community. God is using this ministry in mighty ways to help the lives of the Dalits and most of all to share the Gospel. Even though Christians still experience persecution these Dalit people are responding to the Gospel and God is transforming lives. The six critical areas of concern that this ministry targets are health, education, social and economic empowerment, training, law awareness and spiritual empowerment. We were grateful for the opportunity to hear from these women. It opened up our eyes to how God is moving and how much He loves this group of people.
