Fruit of the Spirit Sermon Series

Why are there so many valleys in the Christian life? Why do I keep struggling with the same sinful patterns? How do I experience permanent, lasting, positive change in my walk with Jesus?

Good news – your struggle is not new nor is it unaddressed in the Bible. In Galatians 5:22-26, the Apostle Paul uses a farming metaphor, the “Fruit of the Spirit,” to describe how the Holy Spirit brings positive change in our Christian lives. Even by his choice of an organic illustration, Paul hints that this change is not something we can do on our own but rather is produced in us through the powerful Spirit of God. He points out nine specific character traits that are developed in us as we learn to walk with the Spirit.

Join us for the next 8 weeks as we study this passage. We will see the nature of this change, the pattern of change, and the power for change. Ultimately, we will learn that true change is a supernatural result of adoring Jesus Christ.
