TITLE: Gathering, Worship, A/V Director
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Works with the Preaching Team Lead to plan and oversee weekly gatherings of house churches and other worship times
Leads and develops volunteer teams to facilitate gatherings and other worship experiences
Oversees audio-visual equipment, including necessary maintenance, replacement, or upgrades.
Coordinates, directs, and oversees media content shared within the context of the Gatherings
HOURS PER WEEK: Full-Time Salaried Position (Forty hours per week)
REPORTS TO: Preaching Team Lead
WORK LOCATION: Apex Kettering
Provide leadership and oversight within the gathering environment
Plan and execute weekly gatherings
With Preaching Team Lead, provide leadership and oversight of Gathering Team, including the Worship Team and A/V Team
With Preaching Team Lead, plan, coordinate, and oversee various elements of gathering environment
With Preaching Team Lead, develop and oversee annual budget for the Gathering Team
Coordinate baptisms within the gathering environment
Develop and maintain up-to-date audio-visual technology
Manage volunteer teams
Identify, recruit, organize, and equip volunteers for Gathering Teams to serve effectively
Invest in developing and discipling team members and leaders through regular coaching huddles
Plan regular team-building events for Gathering Teams to maintain unity and commitment
Lead worship teams in regular rehearsals
Cast vision and implement strategy to promote authentic worship within Apex
Regularly participate in staff meetings, prayer times, and network equipping events
Help equip and resource Apex house churches for dynamic worship experiences in their context.
Explore and develop other areas of mission and ministry that align with gifts and calling
Complete other duties and projects as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
One to two years of experience leading and managing teams
Three-plus years experience in leading worship with a strong musical background
Demonstrated commitment to make disciples of Christ who make disciples

Minimum Educational, Spiritual, and Ability Requirements:
A member of Apex Community Church (Confession of faith; actively involved in a house church; consistent participation in and support of Apex’s mission and vision)
Consistent spiritual and moral character and lifestyle
Agreement with the doctrinal statements of Apex Community Church
Knowledge, skills, and/or aptitudes to perform each duty effectively
